What do I get for free?
One CV, the Clean template, the real score, and one PDF export, rendered on your phone. You can also write a cover letter yourself and export it, free, as often as you like. Nothing is time limited and nothing expires.
What does PRO add?
All ten templates including the ATS safe pack, unlimited exports, unlimited CVs, the AI review with its fixes and rewriting, AI written cover letters, and matching your CV against a job description. Current prices are shown in the app and on the App Store, in your local currency. There is no trial.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel them in iOS, not in the app. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then CVTonic, then Cancel Subscription. You keep PRO until the end of the period you already paid for.
I paid but the app still says free
Open Settings inside CVTonic and tap Restore purchases. If you bought PRO before creating an account, sign in with the same Apple ID you paid with and the purchase attaches itself. If it still does not appear, email us with the date of the purchase and we will sort it out.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds go through Apple rather than us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and pick the purchase. Tell us too if something in the app was the reason, because that is a bug we want to know about.
Your CV
Where is my CV stored?
On your phone until you create an account. After that it is also saved to your account so you do not lose it when you change device. The privacy policy spells out exactly what goes where.
Is the score real?
Yes. It comes from a fixed set of rules that run on your phone, and the same CV always gets the same number. It is not a random figure designed to make you buy something, and it goes up when the CV actually gets better.
My PDF is two pages and I asked for one
The app tightens the layout as far as it honestly can and then lets the rest run onto a second page. It will not shrink text past readable or drop a bullet to make a page count come true. Cutting a role or shortening the longest bullets is the fix, and the score screen points at the ones worth cutting.
Which template should I use for an application form?
If the employer uses applicant tracking software, pick ATS Basic, ATS Plus or Compact. They are single column plain text with no panels or icons, which is what those systems parse reliably.
Account and data
Delete everything, signed in
Settings, then DANGER ZONE, then Delete account. It removes your CVs and score history along with the account. There is a second confirmation because it cannot be undone.
Delete everything, not signed in
Settings, then DANGER ZONE, then Delete my data. Your CV was only ever on this phone, so this clears it and puts the app back to a fresh install.
I signed in with Apple and hid my email
That works. Apple gives us a relay address and mail we send reaches you through it. If you turn the relay off later, contact us and we will update the address on the account.
Something is broken
Email hello@cvtonic.app with your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot helps more than a description. If the app crashed, it has usually already sent us the crash report, and saying roughly when it happened is enough for us to find it.
